His name is Jacob. Here is his story.
Jacob is a sophomore from the tristate area.

We did not even know he existed until he showed up for Passover last year.

We did not see him again… until we met one night in October at Walmart!

After a 20-minute heart-to-heart, Jacob decided to attend 4 weeks straight at Shabbat dinner.

At the third week, he looked at us and said “You know, next week is the last week of my commitment… I think… I will continue coming.”

He then shared, "You will never know how much I needed that rendezvous at Walmart. I didn't realize how much I needed my community and my Judaism. And there is more that I am not even comfortable sharing..."

You gave him safety and community when he needed it most. And really, you provided him with much more. More than we will ever know.
